 Good news! Beauties Beasts rewards will begin shipping this Monday, November 21st.

A few advance copies of both the hardcover and softcover editions of the book are available at the Baby Tattoo Booth this weekend at DesignerCon in Pasadena, California (the photo above was taken at the venue this morning). Olivia will be at the convention this afternoon signing books at 3:00 PM. If you can make it to the event, I may be able to hand you your reward face-to-face (I have a few of the limited edition hardcover rewards with all of the extras ready to go), but there's no need to make a special trek to Pasadena since reward packages will begin shipping in just two days!

To be candid, this is a massive shipping project for Baby Tattoo, and it will take me and my team a couple of weeks to get all of the rewards collated, packed and delivered to the post office; but dozens of packages will go out every day from Monday until the job is done.

And here's a bit more news for Monday... Baby Tattoo is launching a new Kickstarter campaign as a follow up to Beauties Beasts.

Beyond Science Fiction is the second book in the "Baby Tattoo Carnival of Astounding Art" series. It is a new presentation of the art of Michael Whelan, the most awarded sci-fi/fantasy artist of all time. The book is being prepared as a companion to Michael's forthcoming exhibition at the Riverside Art Museum, and it will be packed with both classic and newer paintings. This will be Michael's first new art book in over 20 years!

The Beyond Science Fiction campaign will begin on Kickstarter on Monday, November 21, 2017 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. We'll be sending an update at that time to officially announce the launch. 3. Physical Book Distribution - There will be a few advance copies of the Beauties Beasts book available at the exhibition tonight. The bulk of the brand-new books are en route from the printer overseas, and will arrive in Los Angeles by mid November. We expect all rewards to ship by the end of November.

"I am so moved by all of you who supported this Kickstarter campaign! Thank you for backing us and I hope that you love what we have all put together for you. Thank you to my friend Bob Self whose brilliant mind has conjured this show with Jordu and me, and brought it to the Oceanside museum. This book is going to be gorgeous! I also am very excited that my dear bosom buddy, Elvira, has come on board to do the foreword! Her presence had made this the perfect monster bash. Thank you to Mark Berry, who has been slaving over the design of the book, and who has personally puffed smoke behind Jordu masks to whip up the sensual monster pics. Thank you to Allan Amato for shooting the video and making the fantastic King Kong monster poster clasping the beautiful Dani Daniels. What Lies Beyond

Thank you to everyone for 30 breathtaking days! In the final 24 hours of the Beauties Beasts campaign, our army of over 750 backers eclipsed the top-tier $50,000 stretch goal set back when this thing started. We'll be sending a Beauties Beasts button set consisting of five 1" buttons (two beauties, two beasts, and one grinning Baby) to every backer receiving a physical reward. And we'll send the cute-as-a-button digital versions to the backers who opted to receive only no-shippig-required digital books.

Also, in acknowledgment of the thrilling climax to our campaign, we added a 14th postcard to the collector's postcard set... it features Olivia's sensational new painting of Elvira "having a moment" with Jordu Schell's "Genetic Mutation II". The image seems appropriate given the fact that everyone on the Beauties Beasts team is "having a moment" right now... reflecting on all of the Kickstarter community's generous support.

You'll be hearing from us again soon. Well be sending out a reward survey via BackerKit in about two weeks. And we'll keep the updates coming. The Oceanside Museum of Art exhibition and the world premiere of the book are so much closer now than they were a month ago!

The invigorating first wave of the Beauties Beasts invasion may have ended last night, but the celebratory onslaught is just beginning!

Irresistible Desire

Zowie! Only a few hours to go! Only a few dollars 'til our top-tier $50,000 stretch goal is breached (and the details revealed)! And the museum exhibition and the book itself is getting so close we can feel its scary, sexy breath on the backs of our necks.

Olivia just completed a brand new painting of the Mistress of the Dark in a friends-with-benefits embrace involving Jordu Schell's Genetic Mutation II. And we're offering the original painting as a grand finale reward during the last few hours of what has been a fantastic campaign.

The original art comes with a few special honors. The painting will be prominently displayed as part of the Beauties Beasts exhibition at the Oceanside Museum of Art, accompanied by a show label establishing that the original art is "from the collection of [backer's name]." The museum label, and a special certificate authenticating the painting's provenance will be presented along with the original art to the backer who pledges this reward. The painting will also be published as a full page image opposite Elvira's foreword in the Beauties Beasts book, and the backer will receive a published "from the collection of" credit. Of course, this reward will also include the signed, limited edition hardcover book and all of the perks that come with it.

And there's still an opportunity to pledge for Olivia's first-ever original art study pairing one of her pinups with one of Jordu's monsters. "Mecha-Monster Mash" is the last remaining original art study available as a reward... and it holds an unquestionably historic place in the evolution of the Beauties Beasts project.
